After a long hiatus to get an MFA, and travel to South Africa, Prague, Israel, the Smokies, Costa Rica, and Seattle, I’m revisiting my blog. You can read the old stuff here: http://evelynspence.blogspot.com. I started it when I moved from Boulder to Brooklyn, wide-eyed and exploratory. Now that I’m a bitter New Yorker (okay, only sometimes!), I’ve formulated an escape plan, and I’m moving back to Seattle. Where I was born. Where I belong. A good friend called it “the home of my heart,” or maybe it was “the heart of my home,” but either way it feels like I’ve come full circle.
